It’s a game seven of NHL Playoff challenge between the teams of Tampa Bay Lightning and Washington Capitals. Both sides will take a place in Amalie Arena, Tampa, USA. The Bolts know how to handle Washington Capitals, also, they just beat them three times in a row in Games 3 through 5. Goalie, Andrei Vasilevskiy has been a force in net, stopping 131 of the 139 shots he has faced over the past four games. We have not seen the shape from this team. The home side has not looked sharp for much of this series, moreover, they are the East's best team in the regular season. Have another level, and Game 7 should bring it out of them.
The guests avoided elimination Monday and forced game seven with the 2nd win by the home team in this series. Washington saw TJ Oshie score the only goal they needed with a power play tally at 15-12 of the 2nd period with Devante Smith-Pelly doubling the advantage at 10-12 of the third period.
We continue to give you our daily best tips and the next one which we really want to predict and give our exclusive verdict is going to be from the USA, NHL Playoffs between the teams of Washington Capitals and Tampa Bay Lightning. The game will be held in Capital One Arena, Washington, D.C., USA.
The Bolts are one step away from reaching the Stanley Cup Finals, but we do not see them getting there after this game. Washington Capitals lost both home games in this series, but this is still a very solid home team and we feel that they will rise up to force a game-7. The home side just needs to get their power play going and we feel they will be able to do just that as they have converted on 25.4% of their chances here at home so far this season.
The guests have been a solid road team all year, but with their backs against the wall and facing elimination, we see Washington Capitals coming out on top in this one and the clincher is the fact that the Capitals are 25-8 in their last 33 Monday appearances.
Washington Capitals has a 2-1 lead in this series, but it seems as if the Bolts have the momentum after taking Game-3 right here in the Nation’s Capital. They have now won their last four games away from home in the Playoffs, while the team of Washington Capitals has gone just 3-4 here at home in the postseason season so far. We like the momentum that the Bolts grabbed with their game-three win and we looking for them to keep it going in this one.
The hosts have the edge on offence, but not by much, while we see Vasilevskiy as having a ton of confidence after stopping 36 of the 38 shots he faced in the previous game. This has a feel of another Over 5.5 Goals in the regular time.
Yesterday, we were wrong about our decision to think that, Winnipeg Jets and Vegas Golden Knights as that they were going to show us an offensive and effective game on the ice. Tampa Bay Lightning had the most points in the Eastern conference and the 3rd most in NHL and they had an easy go of it in their first two series against the Devils and Boston Bruins, but it has been far tougher for them so far in their series with the Washington Capitals.
Bolts has their backs against the wall, but can they get back on track against a Washington Capitals team that is playing really well at the moment? We feel that they can. When a team struggles at home, like the Bolts, have done the past two games, the best thing for them to do is to get away from the pressures of home and we feel that they will respond in this one.
They have to as they are a very slim chance of them coming back from a 3 - 0 deficit. Tampa Bay Lightning has not played well in this series few years ago, but we feel they will be able to steal this one in the Nation’s Capital.
The next interesting game which we found of the daily ice hockey program is going to be from the USA. NHL playoffs challenge between New Jersey Devils and Tampa Bay Lightning. The game will be held in Prudential Center, Newark, USA.
Tampa Bay is:
0-7 in their previous seven encounters when their opponent scores 5 goals or more in their last game.
1-4 their last five games away from home.
New Jersey is:
5-1 in their previous six games after scoring 5 goals or more in their last clash.
9-4 in their previous 13 against the Eastern Conference.
Of course, because we cannot be 100% sure that New Jersey Devils will take this game, although they must do it and the odds for that are not that bad, we looked at the goal market and we saw that the line is just 6 goals. The hosts are scoring lots of goals and it will be almost impossible not to score a goal. Our prediction for that fixture is over 5.5 goals. The odds are pretty good, that is why we will take it.
